Job Description
About The Role:
Manual Tester has a major role to play in the stage of software development. You will carry out manual tests to ensure the software created meets the requirements. This involves the analysis of software to prevent issues and fixing bugs before the product is dispatched to users. As working with code is part of the role, software testers are expected to be familiar with various coding languages.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
- Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
- work on multiple projects at one time
- document analysis
- Arranging Test Environment to execute the test cases
- Reporting of bugs to developers so as to fix it
- Test Cases for various testing processes
- Minimum knowledge on any of the automation tools
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills.
- Ability to write the use cases for the modules.
- Prioritize the work based on the severity. Â
