Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a strongly associated discipline
• Proven experience of 5+ years as a TPM or Engineering Manager in a software , SaaS , or systems development environment with an overall experience of 10+ years.
• Strong technical experience in platform development at scale.
• Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs , challenges , and risks. Engineers enjoy working closely with you.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to present data and status , tailored to varied levels of management
• Agile Lifecycle Management tool expertise—preferably with JIRA software.
• Ability to manage organizational change initiatives.
• Flexible and resilient; willingness to take initiative to create approaches to complex problems.
• Well versed in a variety of software development , program and project management methodologies and techniques.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast growing environment.

Responsibilities

• The Program Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of a portfolio of projects and programs for the organization.
• He will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the program is completed on time and within budget and also act as a liaison between the individuals working on the program and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineering/product leads to conceptualize strategic initiatives and solutions and develop those into detailed program / project plans.
• Project manage technical , complex , large scale , cross-team , cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
• Organize/align multiple engineering and cross-functional teams for delivery and drive execution and results proactively.
• Be hands on with the teams in Sprint planning , Estimation , Retros and other scrum ceremonies.
• Continuously measure and report the project progress
• Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary.
• Lead Program Increment (PI) planning
• Manage initiation , planning , execution , launch and closure phases of programs. Ensure alignment of all program stakeholders behind overall objectives.
• Lead day to day execution of programs while keeping sight of strategic goals and working with teams comprising of highly accomplished engineering , UX , product and QA leads
• Interact with product , engineering and GTM executives on a daily basis in order to facilitate informed decision making
• Proactively manage risks , issues , and dependencies
• Partner with Product and Engineering Managers to contribute towards product road-map planning , resource planning and prioritization tradeoffs
• Coach the product development teams on agile product development processes , attend scrum ceremonies , and provide hands-on consultation
