About the job

  • The Manager, Delivery is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) for clients. She/he manages schedules, financials, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. S/he also identifies and addresses potential issues and risks that may impact project deliverables. S/he serves as the point of escalation for project related activities, and is the escalation point for the Customer. S/he may be expected to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously. 

Essential JobFunctions/Responsibilities

Responsible for service delivery for all Duck Creek engagements globally Responsible for further developing Duck Creek capabilities and competency.

Establish and manage DCT practice Scale up our DuckCreek business Presales support for DCT business, arrowheads & accelerators development, partnership management.

Maintain client satisfaction in DCT accounts as per organizational norms Competency building in DCT space through Training, Coaching & Mentoring Managing team, Staff scheduling, hiring resources, sharing feedback and coach on improvement plans with the agents, publishing performance report, sharing report with senior management, Client meeting, Internal management Meeting, team meeting resource growth planning and   training, Driving performance and meeting SLAs KPIs. 

Escalation handling and controlling. Driving CSI, conducting feedback session monthly quarterly yearly. Team performance review and Project Business enhancement planning.

  • Assumes people management responsibilities including, but not limited to, the management of direct reports, writing and conducting annual performance reviews, managing underperformance, and serving as a hiring manager.
  • Serves as a Supervisor for team of direct reports
  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Define and adhere to the Statement of Work
  • Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors, and university stakeholders
  • Report on project results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO, and key stakeholders
  • Recognized by the project team & customer as the application technical expert and serves as a point of escalation for technical questions and concerns.
  • Deep professional experience on leading implementation of the custom or package solution involving above technologies
  • Good understanding of Microsoft technologies, XML and XSL technologies

Education And Work Experience

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 10-12 years’ professional experience, preferably in implementing software applications

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Superior skills in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience managing clients
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget
  • Experience leading, motivating and managing various project team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
  • Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff
  • Demonstrated experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
