DevOps @DataWeave

Dataweave Data Platform team builds and maintains core SaaS infrastructure responsible for data aggregation,processing and data distribution. DevOps is integral part of the platform team. With huge volume data to be processed, stored and secured across various computing needs like Machine Learning, Report Generation, Image processing etc. there is a need of massive, optimized infrastructure. We achieve it by taking a hybrid cloud approach, combined with container-based highly manageable, scalable deployments.

Relevant set of skills

  • Working knowledge of build automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking and security
  • AWS architecture, developer, or devops certifications a plus
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, bash is a plus
  • Experience in creating cloud cost models and running cloud readiness assessments
  • Auto and manual scaling in AWS, High Availability concepts, monitoring, data backup and disaster recovery
  • Knowledge of cloud security and identity best practices
  • AWS architecture including IAM, ELB, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Cloudformation, Cloudfront, Autoscaling, DataPipeline, Security Groups
  • Knowledge of application deployment and data migration on AWS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4 – 7 years of experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure, AWS preferred


Role and responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions for monitoring, scaling, performance improvement, and configuration management of systems running SaaS applications on AWS infrastructure
  • Develop automation framework for public cloud infrastructure deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, software, storage and performance issues
  • Maintenance, management, and streamlining of all of our servers, external processes, and hosted services
  • Participate in architecture planning sessions with the development team
  • Develop tools for automation, monitoring and system reporting
  • Making sure that the infrastructure is secured on a regular basis
  • Make sure the infra is running optimally and scalable.
