Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products and responsible for the life cycle of the product, ensuring that everyone is following the product roadmap and that features are being released on time and are of high quality.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Developing product plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed
- Developing schedules and methods for measuring results
- Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
- Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
- Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
- Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate the selection of project services and products
- Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications
Required Experience, Skills, And Qualifications
- 5 + years working as a Product Manager in a web-based tech company
- 5 years of experience working in agile software development
- Oversees a portfolio of projects end to end including; prioritization, development, testing, and deployment of the software development life cycle.
- Develops high-level and detailed project plans for each project. Oversees the milestones to ensure that internal schedules align with key due dates
- Serves as liaison with other departments (Research & Development, QA, Analytics, Strategy & Operations, etc) to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Must have the experience to manage Git Repositories
- Responsible to create product requirements in the form of epics and user stories with tickets
- Work closely with engineers to groom tickets, and gain estimates
- Lead Monday/Friday client overview meetings.
- Weekly status report on products (both internally and externally with clients and engineering teams)
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage many details of client interactions and get them right the first time
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
